Be Prepared Safety Fair in Calabasas
Assemblymember Irwin and Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath invite you and your family to a free, family-friendly safety fair focused on community preparedness and emergency awareness.
Explore booths on home hardening, disaster preparedness, public safety, and medical response, and enjoy interactive hands-only CPR demos. Kids can experience touch-a-truck activities with vehicles from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Sheriff’s Department, MRCA, Animal Control, and more.
In addition, meet K9 units, visit the Pet Adoption area, and participate in a blood donation drive with Vitalant!

With Santa Monica Mountains Fire Safe Council whose mission is to promote wildfire safety and community resilience in the communities of the Santa Monica Mountains. They will offer practical tips and plans to keep your families safe.
- 11:30 a.m. — Community Safety Updates with the Chiefs
Chief Smith from LA County FD and Captain Carr from LASD will share important information on the latest happenings in our community and join Assemblymember Irwin in a panel discussion Q & A regarding public safety in our communities.
