Little Hoover Commission on Veterans Homes in California

An independent state oversight agency that was created in 1962 to help investigate state government operations and policy through reports and legislative proposals. They then make recommendations to the governor and/or legislature on how best to improve programs. In 2014, Chairwoman Irwin asked the Little Hoover Commission to produce a report on the veteran’s homes in California.
