Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin Covid-19 Vaccine Town Hall

Who: Join Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin and a group of distinguished scientists and health care leaders including Ventura County Public Health Officer Dr. Robert Levin for a virtual town hall on vaccine development for the COVID-19 virus.

What: The conversation will cover four of the most pressing topics on the designing, testing, and mass-production of a vaccine for COVID-19 to help Ventura County residents gain a greater understanding of the extensive process it takes to produce a successful vaccine. The program will cover the following topics:

I. Basics of Vaccines

II. COVID Vaccine Trials and Approval Process

III. Status and Timeline for a COVID Vaccine

IV. Prioritization of the Vaccines and Distribution
