Irwin, State Assembly Honor Cyber Innovation Challenge Winners

(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin (D-Thousand Oaks) joined with the rest of the State Assembly in honoring four teams of high school students who won the California Cyber Innovation Challenge, a state-level cyber security championship, sponsored by the California governor’s Go-Biz office. “It’s absolutely critical that we think about security FIRST,” said Assemblymember Irwin. “Even when you’re talking about the “internet of things” – you need to think about how to make the “internet of things” secure.” Here’s more from Assemblymember Irwin and some of the students in this Assembly Access video.
