Assemblymember Irwin Announces Funding for Rice Avenue Grade Separation Overpass Project

(Oxnard, CA)  – Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin (D-Thousand Oaks) was joined by local dignitaries for a press conference to announce that $68 million has been allocated for the Rice Avenue Grade Separation Overpass project- one of the top three most dangerous street intersections in California. For years, it has been the site of several fatal train crashes. “When I was elected in 2014, I pledged to make Ventura County my priority every single day. That is why I am so proud to make the announcement that funding was approved for Rice Avenue,” said Assemblymember Irwin.
